Jansen joined Agenda Hong Kong in 2009 to build a social media arm for the WPP-owned digital agency. He ran social media and digital campaigns for clients like Air New Zealand, 7-Eleven, as well as Starbucks. His works covered setting up workflow for new operations, defining measurement to evaluate campaign effectiveness as well as publicity for the agency.
CMRS was his next stop after 3 years in Agenda. He worked with the Insight Team to offer data analytic and consultancy services for clients. He then took the role of Director, Social Business Strategy in GroupM, his team was to manage all paid social in the media agency group.
His last job was Director of Social Media in Apple Daily, where he was responsible for "infrastructure" for the group social media operations, like results tracking for various business units.
The diverse roles Jansen took in the past jobs constituted a wide-spectrum perspective in digital and social media marketing. Now the experience and skillset he earned throughout the years help him to run his own consultancy business.
